Elizabeth Lewis is an Associate Professor in the School of Education. She began her professional life as a geologist and then a high school Earth & Space Science teacher. As coordinator for the Master of Arts with emphasis in science teaching (MAst) program, she works with preservice science teachers learning how to teach diverse students science. Her active research program studies teacher learning; she mentors graduate students (master’s and doctoral) in how to conduct educational research and better understand educational research approaches and designs.
