Greg Rushton directs the Tennessee Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education Center (TSEC), a research and outreach arm of Middle Tennessee State University aimed at improving K-20 STEM education locally and nationally. His research areas include conceptual change in tertiary chemistry learning environments, science classroom discourse practices, policy reform in K-16 chemistry education, large-scale demographic analyses of K-12 STEM teaching populations, and science teacher leadership.
