Dr. Justina Jackson is a Research Scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC). Her research focuses on K-12 STEM/STEAM education, critical pedagogy, and teacher professional development. Her expertise includes culturally responsive research and evaluation, assessment, and qualitative methodology. She also co-developed a K12 STEAM course that utilizes the Rightful Presence Framework. She holds a Certificate in Qualitative Research and a Certificate of Excellence in College Teaching from Georgia State University (GSU). She received her Ph.D. in Educational Policy, with a concentration in Research, Measurement, and Statistics from GSU.
