Keith Hubbard is a professor in the department of mathematics and statistics at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU). He is PI for two Noyce grants–Track 1: Talented Teachers in Training for Texas eXpanded (DUE 2050397) and Track 4: Investigating STEM Teacher Preparation and Rural Teacher Persistence and Retention (TPR)^2 (DUE 2050108). Originally earning his Ph.D. in theoretical mathematics, his efforts are now directed at recruiting, training, and understanding the success of STEM teachers, as well as using data analytics to identify and support all university students. Keith recently received funding from the SFASU President’s Innovation Fund for his project, Early Detection and Intervention of Disengaged Students.
