Dr. Walker is an Assistant Professor and Ed.D. Program Liaison in the Department of Educational Leadership and Higher Education at the University of Central Florida. Previously, he held faculty appointments at Loyola University (Maryland) and Howard University. His research focuses on race, leadership, and policy. Dr. Walker has authored/co-authored numerous journal articles, book chapters, and co-edited two books. He has nearly a decade of experience working in urban, rural, and suburban school districts. Additionally, he served as the Legislative Director for former Congressman Major R. Owens
