Marilyn E. Strutchens (she/her) is an Emily R. and Gerald S. Leischuck Endowed Professor and Mildred Cheshire Fraley Distinguished Professor of mathematics education at Auburn University. She currently serves as Chair of the Advisory Committee for NSF’s Directorate for STEM Education. Her research focuses on equity issues in mathematics education, clinical experiences for secondary teacher candidates, professional development for mathematics teachers, and growth and development of teacher leaders in mathematics education.
