Marion Usselman is a Principal Research Scientist and Associate Director for Educational Innovation and Development at Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC). Her Ph.D. is in biophysics, but she has worked for over 30 years promoting K-12 STEM education and educational partnerships. Her research interests are in the development, implementation, and assessment of curricular innovations that promote engagement of all students in STEM fields. She is the Principal Investigator on the Culturally Authentic Practice to Advance Computational Thinking in Youth (CAPACiTY) NSF STEM+C project.
