Rachel Funk (she/her) is a research scientist for the Center for Science, Mathematics, and Computer Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her dissertation explored how undergraduate learning assistants were positioned in active learning mathematics classrooms. Broadly, her research interests include understanding the experiences of STEM instructors and learning assistants at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels to support targeted professional development efforts.
